L’ETO CAFFE opened in 2011 and has developed 5 new locations in London since then. A few weeks ago, I was strolling on Brompton Road (the main road between South Kensington and Knightsbridge) and the front of the Cafe was so appealing I had to step inside and explore…
I was totally seduced by this branch: nice staff, great food, cosy atmosphere. Everything you need to relax after a day visiting one of the many museums in the area OR shopping on this long street lined with all the fashion shops and department stores you could dream of. Up to you. Enjoy. And let me present you L’ETO CAFFE, to make sure you will make the most of the area…
L’ETO CAFFE in London
When you walk into L’ETO CAFFE, it’s like being at the Chelsea Festival: flowers are omnipresent on the walls, shelves and tables (and even if they’re fake they’re beautiful, no one likes a spoilsport).
A permanent touch of spring that would put a smile on everyone’s face…especially me.
To each season correspond different flowers. A hidden garden of its sort!
The rest of the room is decorated in such a way you feel at home: many ordinary objects are displayed on the shelves and the big sofas are so comfy that you want to stay for hours!
The wine bottles presented in the middle of the room are an irresistible invitation to relax even more …
Count the memories, not the calories …
That’s L’ETO’s motto. Enjoy the moment, don’t bother with the rest!
And due to the (mouth-watering) number of creamy cakes available in the Cafe you better stick to it or you’ll definitely have to pass your way…
All desserts are eye catching because they’re nice and colorful. If you take a bite out of them you’ll immediately enjoy their smooth texture (cream. cream. cream. You have to like that). The cakes selection varies from fruity ones to chocolate flavored ones…
I like everything related to pistachios and could not help but choose the one below (the mix with rose is awesome actually). I personally prefer fruity flavors over creamy textures, but once in a while L’ETO makes me change my mind 🙂
Just pick your favorite! You can either buy them in the shop or online (deliveries available).
L’ETO menu
We have tasted a few desserts indeed, but L’ETO CAFFE has more to offer: L’ETO Brompton steps in the dining concept and prepares delicious breakfasts inspired by worldwide cuisines, healthy food from the counter (various salads, tarts, marinated fishes or meats…) or even “a la carte” meals.
I came to the Brompton branch twice already. At breakfast and for lunch. Always relishing the freshly cooked meals I ordered…
I started both times with an invigorating cocktail and continued with a flavorful dish. Unlike me, my daughter enjoyed everything satisfying her sweet tooth … !
We also went back home with a small selection of desserts, just to prove to the rest of the family that we could also share the “good memories” from L’ETO!
Whatever your culinary preferences, there must be something to satisfy you at L’ETO CAFFE. The menu is quite varied and changes regularly.
I still have 4 other locations of L’ETO to discover in London as well as a few more dishes … I love the surprises London has to offer!
I hope you got inspired by this new article. Please share your experience on this blog if you are planning to go to L’ETO!
