Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a total newcomer, this museum has something for you! Its modern, vibrant, and thoughtfully curated collection makes art both accessible and exciting. This is the perfect spot for an original date or a fun family outing!
Today, DOYOUSPEAKLONDON takes you to the MOCO Museum, where contemporary art meets bold imagination. Let’s dive in!

Moco Museum has landed in London!
MOCO Museum has already made waves in Barcelona and Amsterdam, and now they’ve come to London with a brand-new flagship!

Located in Marble Arch, right in the heart of London, MOCO Museum is super easy to reach.

I couldn’t wait to check it out and get up close with iconic works from the artists shaping today’s art scene. I went on a Saturday morning with my husband and our teenagers (and if they loved it, trust me, that says it all!), and we all had a fantastic time!
Stunning collections of modern and contemporary art
MOCO Museum showcases an incredible lineup of renowned artists, including Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Banksy, Damien Hirst, KAWS, Jeff Koons and more.

They are masters whose work is (always) bold, (often) thought-provoking, and easy to connect with. It’s a paradise for art lovers, especially with this vibrant collection full of lively colours that bring the space to life!

Immersive & interactive art: when art becomes fun!
Here’s my kids favourite’s part: the one nobody can (objectively) resist: the immersive art.

Because who does not like stepping into a room filled with mirrors, shifting lights, mesmerising sounds and lines everywhere (above), designed to make you lose all sense of where you are? It’s an experience we all enjoyed!

Or looking into this piece and losing yourself in its mind-bending optical effects! Very effective!
Thought-provoking art
At Moco museum, we also rediscovered a few artists we truly admire for the way they engage with their audience, highlighting human vulnerabilities, sometimes directly, other times with a more subtle touch.

JR (above), the French artist known for his striking large-scale photo installations, uses art to amplify voices and spark conversation on social issues.

Banksy (above), of course, the anonymous street artist, renowned for his bold, politically charged works that challenge societal norms and make powerful statements in public spaces.

But there are so many other incredible artists to discover in this museum! I’m not here to spoil all the surprises…

The best way to truly experience it is to see it for yourself! And if you do, don’t forget to share your thoughts on DOYOUSPEAKLONDON’s blog!
