Natural Soy Candle Shop: a business of passion

Behind The Natural Soy Candle Shop stands a “wife and husband team of candle-makers, who both share a passion for beautiful home fragrance”.
Passion: that’s essential to run a successful business, isn’t it? Especially when this passion comes with the desire to find the best ingredients, the ones that will be respectful of our health.
Today, unfortunately, we can still find some candles (even well-known branded ones) containing harmful chemicals and causing health problems ranging from dizziness and allergy symptoms to asthma attacks… In opposition to that, Natural Soy Candle Shop just created the candles you can trust  100% 🙂

Their story began in 2018 when they “started to test and make tealights at home” (they had been supplying candle-making materials for over 5 years, so they knew the trade). And it was all clear from the start for them that paraffin would be avoided in favor of soy wax.

The highest quality of ethical products

The Natural Soy Candle Shop fine-tuned its concept to create natural and sustainable products. They use “sustainable soy wax which isn’t farmed from creatures’ habitats but responsibly grown and farmed”.

I am particularly sensitive to the recycling and reuse effort and really appreciate Julia & Ray’s using soy wax, which makes these elegant amber glass jars easily reusable after a good cleaning with soapy water (and it’s very well known at home that I’ll always find some bits and bobs to put in there :-))

Also, the fragrance and essential oil blends are all carefully chosen with oils that are “paraben-free, phthalate-free, vegan friendly and cruelty-free”. What’s more reassuring than a brand you share your values with??

The perfect Mother’s Day gift!

I was very lucky to celebrate Mother’s Day a bit earlier this year… Not to spoil the surprise, I had not looked at the content of the box online before. Each step of the opening and unwrapping was then VERY exciting… (if you think your beloved one could be jealous, you’re just one click away from spoiling her 🙂 and let me add this: it’s VERY good value for money).

First, I discovered the greetings in the form of an artistic and environment-friendly card by @alakartcreations, a small business Natural Soy Candle Shop has teamed up with on Mother’s Day occasion. A La KArt creates unique and bespoke, plantable cards as well as wildflower seed bombs (I promise: I’ll grow my plant at home and send you a picture soon, Kitti!).

I carefully opened all packagings one by one and took the time to touch, smell, study them all before rushing to a lighter!

As far as I remember, I’ve always enjoyed lighting a candle to create a cozy and warm atmosphere while reading, relaxing, or even working.
This is how once the candles in hand I ended up putting them in the different rooms I was going to as if they were meant to follow me everywhere …
